Sustaining accompaniment of the peace process and affirmation of our commitment to Moral Governance in the Bangsamoro
We are the participants of the Training -Workshop on Moral Governance in the BARMM held from October 30-31, 2021 in KCCP Hotel and Convention Center, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, coming from the different part of Zamboanga del Sur and Sibugay.
After having become aware of the value of Moral Governance, we agreed to form ourselves into an Advocacy Campaign Group for Moral Governance in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Sibugay and Zamboanga del Sur.
We do hereby declare our continuing accompaniment of the implementation of the signed peace agreement and our affirmation of commitment in supporting peace and development in the Bangsamoro and BCOBAR, to wit:
We will continue to serve as active guardians in the pursuit of moral governance as expression of our moral obligation and our commitment to public service in the Bangsamoro;
We consider as part of our obligations to organize and empower active citizenry who will help promote the value of moral governance and inclusive development;
We will continue our advocacy campaign for civilian protection and the promotion of human rights and the international humanitarian law;
We are committed to serve as an instrument of our people, especially the poor rural communities, in promoting their socio-economic development and well-being;
We allow ourselves to be an instrument of strong social cohesion among the Bangsamoro themselves and with other cultural and tribal groups as part of our peace building efforts;
We commit ourselves to work with the regional government and local government units through the principle of constructive engagement and meaningful partnership;
We are committed to build the capacity and potentials of the youth who will inherit leadership for peace and development;
We are committed to pursue our endeavors with the able support of CBCS and partners and other concerned groups through peaceful means;
We value the work of supporting the legitimate aspirations of the other Bangsamoro communities outside the Bangsamoro Core Territories for their socio-economic well-being.
We commit ourselves to implement the Bangsamoro people’s agenda through every means in our disposal.
We invoke the help of Almighty to give us strength and divine guidance to pursue out commitment for peace and inclusive development,
