Promoting Resilience and Organized Citizenry towards Empowerment and Community Transformation for Peace in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao “PROTECT Peace in the BARMM” Project is a three-year project agreement between the Consortium on Bangsamoro Civil Society, Inc. (CBCS) and the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) that aims to build people’s capacity for peacebuilding, and socio-economic development in the BARMM.
The Mid-year Report illustrates the project’s accomplishments mainly on the two-focused components of Good Governance and Livelihood which cover 40 communities in the Municipalities of Omar, Sulu, Panglima Sugala, and Bongao of Tawi-Tawi, Lamitan City of Basilan, Matanog in Maguindanao del Norte, and Carmen and Pikit in North Cotabato, BARMM SGA-areas. Activities spearheaded individually by both the Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society and its Implementing partners are featured in the report.
